Custom orthotics are precision medical devices that are tailored for an individual to correct biomechanical misalignment (e.g. high arch or flat feet). They are inserted in shoes and also used in the treatment of a variety of lower extremity conditions such as Plantar Fasciitis. They can relieve pain, improve skeletal alignment or improve the function of your foot and lower limbs!

Each pair is made from a unique cast of your feet.

We use Kintec Lab Services as our orthotic supplier. Kintec is a local company, and a leader in the field of orthotics manufacture. We provide your referral and analysis, and ship a cast of your feet to Kintec Labs Services.  Your orthotics are custom made from this cast, and shipped back to our office in approximately 7 business days.

We provide a thorough biomechanical analysis.

Each year thousands of people spend millions of dollars on orthotics and don't get the results they expect. Often this is simply the result of not evaluating your bio-mechanics properly and gaining a clear understanding of the true cause of the problem or determining if an orthotic is even needed!

That is why Dr. Barone conducts a thorough, comprehensive bio-mechanical assessment on each and every patient. Regardless of whether you have been referred by your family doctor, podiatrist, orthopaedic surgeon or sports medicine specialist, we conduct the same intense assessment.

TOG Gaitscan Computerized Analysis

It is imperative to get all the bio-mechanical information possible so that we can design an appliance that is right for you. Dr. Barone has been using the TOG Gaitscan computerized gait analysis system to provide detailed pressure and timing analysis since 2002.

Our computerized analysis is used only in the evaluation of your biomechanics, and not in the production of your orthotic.  In fact, Kintec Laboratories do not even receive the computerized analysis.  This ensures that you receive the highest quality orthotic constructed only from a cast of your feet.
